The Artist’s Biography Ms. Fariba Ghisour is an Iranian-American artist who is working as a full-time professional painter in Maryland. Fariba studied art under the supervision of the renowned Iranian painter, Professor Aydin Aghdashloo, at Zangar Art Institute in Tehran. She also worked with famous Iranian painters and art teachers such as Mr. Khorraminejad, Mr. Katoozian, and Mr. Nedayee. After her graduation in 1990, Fariba worked at Zangar Art Institute as an art instructor for several years. Fariba established her own art studio in 1995 in Tehran where she developed art courses and taught painting classes to students in different age groups, particularly at the college level.
Fariba loves painting and uses her artistic talents to communicate her humanitarian and creative ideas with people around the world. She continued her professional activities after departing from her homeland in 2011 to explore new opportunities in the U. S. Ms. Ghisour is currently active in local art communities in Maryland and offers painting classes in pencil, pastel, watercolor, oil, and acrylic domains.
